CFP® Chief Executive Officer
Innocent is a Scientist (B. Sc Hons M. Sc Chemistry, UCT) who started his career at AECI Research and Umgeni Water in the mid- to late 90s. He left the science profession in November 2000 and joined Forever Living Products, a USA Arizona-based nutrition and skin lotions manufacturer as its top distributor in Southern Africa. In 2005 he switched to the financial services sector and started SPIDDI INVESTMENTS. He has since enjoyed a fruitful career for nearly 20 years as a CFP® professional. He obtained MBA in General Management from the UFS Business School in 2016. Before retiring, he wants to scale up SPIDDI to a global company and leave a legacy.
Thembelihle Shabalala
Non-Executive Director, Legal Services
Lihle is a Corporate and Commercial Attorney specialising in media and procurement law and has been practicing for 8 years. She holds an LLB Degree from UKZN and a PGDip in Financial Planning and RE1 from Milpark Education. RE1 has officially enabled her to be recognised by the regulator FSCA as Key Individual charged with a duty to oversee the governance affairs of SPIDDI INVESTMENTS, a company she co-founded. Lihle has been admitted to a Postgrad Law Certificate Programme by the University of London. She is preparing to take the reins of SPIDDI INVESTMENTS to new heights upon Mr Shabalala’s retirement.

Mavuso is a seasoned HR Executive, with public and private sector experience gained in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds qualifications including Bachelor of Social Science (B Soc Sc, UCT), Dip in Business Management, Master of Business Leadership (MBL). He is a Global Rewards Professional (GRP). He has extensive governance and compliance experience, having served on several boards as a non-executive director, chairperson of Audit and Risk Committee and HR and Remunerations Committee. He currently serves in 4 boards, including SPIDDI INVESTMENTS
BEKITHEMBA MAFULELA
CFA, CFP® Non-Executive Director Distribution Strategy And International Growth

Beki is an experienced independent investment consultant and adviser coach with over 20 years relevant professional work and business experience in the wealth management industry, lifetime financial planning & advice profession in particular, gained living & working in three southern African countries namely South Africa, Zambia & Zimbabwe.

Beki started his career as a buy side investment analyst later specialising in corporate finance and private equity, before taking on various other business consulting and leadership roles in the wealth management industry and financial planning profession in particular.

With over 15 years in the wealth management industry advising and coaching financial advisers, Beki is well equipped to understand the unique challenges facing a growing independent financial advisory business. 

Beki is a CFA charter holder. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and also an advanced post-graduate diploma in financial planning specialising in employee benefits from the University of the Free State.

Married to Matilda Katarina Mafulela Dahlquist they have two daughters Nomsa and Tuli.
